Plain buff boards lightly bumped and flecked. A small erratum slip affixed to verso of 'Contents' page, textblock unmarked. Illustrated, loose-plastic protected dustjacket lightly edgeworn and soiled, with colour-faded spine (titles clearly legible). Born in Melbourne in 1855, Isaac Isaacs became one of Australia's most prominent citizens, as a young teacher, lawyer, helped frame his country's constitution, became our highest ranking judge, and Australia's first home-born Governor-General.
