(ix) + 122pp., b/white halftone plate frontispiece, plus like, unpaginated plates throughout (all called-for plates extant and attached). Book clean and square. Quarter-cloth spine good, with mild bumps head and heel, colour-fading to cloth, a tiny ink speck to same, and a fair condition only title label also on same. (An identical, unused publisher's replacement title label is tipped-in on a rear fly sheet). Pattern-print, papered boards very good. Hinges ditto. A former owner's bookplate affixed to front pastedown, a blind-embossed address on front and rear free endpaper, else random foxing and splotching throughout. The history of Stanton and Snowshill, Gloucestershire, from the earliest known register (1572) until publication of this title (1927).
